ISIL atrocities CLEARLY demonstrate that such provocation of Western delicate sensibilities to the horrors of war (only when the victim looks like THEM) results in a predictable, continuous escalation of media hysteria to keep the US war machine engaged in both Syria and Iraq.
So why would “ISIS” continue such counter-productive provocations, especially adding OSCAR-worthy high production values for “Technical Achievement in a Propaganda Snuff Video”?
Are wars won by repeating counter-productive stupidity? Is that how the Moors conquered Spain? So why continue behavior that provokes ever-increasing retaliation?
Obama was definitely planning to leave Iraq, and insistent NOT to start a war with Syria, and NOT have more boots on the ground. Suddenly, within days of actual troop withdrawals, there are chemical weapons used in Syria, (blamed on Assad, but later proven to be US-supported rebels) and war against Assad is averted ONLY by intervention by Vladimir Putin to dispose of the weapons and eliminate the WMD threat. Less than three weeks after their complete disposal, the
ISIS, IS, ISIL(?) phenomenon is announced… with ample brutality and beheadings, and more beheadings, and now, burning alive caged prisoners of war.
OF COURSE THIS ISN’T a war against Assad (wink)…. just his country, and infrastructure, and multi-ethnic culture: Christians, to Yazidis, to Shias. Against everyone. But strangely, not against the “hated Jews”.
ISIS—the perpetual false flag– appearing wherever it’s needed for US to intervene militarily, or persuade the population that “No one is safe. No one. Not even in the Homeland.” Maybe soon to appear in a political theater near you.
The Slippery-Slope Timetable to Regime Change in Syria; ISIS; and the Permanent Destruction of Mid East Culture. In his own words.
The following timetable demonstrates the evolution of a President who was elected on the basis of ending American involvement in unending Mideast and Asian wars, only to reverse position and lobby repeatedly for an aggressive, interventionist, hegemonic policy in multiple other countries, including Syria, Libya, Yemen, Ukraine, Egypt, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and intentionally provoking confrontation and potentially expanded proxy war with the Russian Federation, regarding Ukraine, against Russia’s natural, historic regional vital interests . The following timetable deals only with Syria.
The question remains unanswered. In his rise from obscurity, did he mislead the public, simply to get into a position of power? Was he selected, inserted and subsequently influenced by the same shadow government forces that expanded its hegemonic agenda under Bush 41, and completely monopolized foreign policy under Bush 43? Claiming to be an “anti-Bush,” he has gone far beyond what Bush ever did, and has done it in a consistently dissembling manner. One wonders whether he is really in charge of his government and military industrial complex, or a convenient figurehead. His selection of representatives, like former State Department Press Secretary Psaki, now White House Communications Director, have caused derision, disrespect, and contempt for American credibility and veracity.
While protesting America’s peaceful and altruistic intentions. The record, in contrast to the slick keyword rhetoric, is quite clear. What he says, is not what he does. Either he has no moral, ethical or political position, or he is the most disingenuous, misdirecting, projecting, compulsive liar in the history of the American Presidency.

“War weary” Obama: We are certain Assad is responsible. Attack requires a military response – US considers cruise missiles fired from U.S. Navy ships at Syrian command targets .
Within hours… Kerry: “We have no evidence the rebels have that capability. Therefore, we believe it was Assad. ”
(Later actual investigation shows it was the Syrian rebels supported by the US, that transported previously captured women and children from Latakia to an already deserted area of Ghouta and gassed them. Photos of hundreds of suspiciously aligned and shrouded bodies were posted on the internet within hours of the “attack” while rescue efforts were still happening. Obama and Kerry continue to blatantly implicate Assad in subsequent speeches.)

Obama’s Introduces “New” Terror Threat – “ISIS/ISIL/IS” – after purported video beheading
Thanks to our military and counter-terrorism professionals, America is safer.
“Still,” he said, “we continue to face a terrorist threat.” “Our objective is clear: We will degrade, and ultimately destroy, ISIL through a comprehensive and sustained counter-terrorism strategy.”
1. A systematic campaign of airstrikes against “ISIL” [not against Assad, of course]
a. we will expand our efforts beyond protecting our own people and humanitarian missions, so that we’re hitting ISIL targets as Iraqi forces go on offense. Moreover, I have made it clear that we will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are. That means I will not hesitate to take action against ISIL in Syria, as well as Iraq.
2. Increased support to forces fighting ISIL on the ground
In June, I deployed several hundred American service members to Iraq to assess how we can best support Iraqi security forces. Now that those teams have completed their work –- and Iraq has formed a government –- we will send an additional 475 service members to Iraq. As I have said before, these American forces will not have a combat mission – we will not get dragged into another ground war in Iraq.
In Syria, we have ramped up our military assistance to the Syrian opposition. Tonight, I call on Congress again to give us additional authorities and resources to train and equip these fighters. In the fight against ISIL, we cannot rely on an Assad regime that terrorizes its own people — a regime that will never regain the legitimacy it has lost. Instead, we must strengthen the opposition as the best counterweight to extremists like ISIL, while pursuing the political solution necessary to solve Syria’s crisis once and for all.
3. Drawing on our substantial counter terrorism capabilities to prevent ISIL attacks
Working with our partners, we will redouble our efforts to cut off its funding; improve our intelligence; strengthen our defenses; counter its warped ideology; and stem the flow of foreign fighters into and out of the Middle East.
4. Providing humanitarian assistance to innocent civilians displaced by ISIL
We cannot allow these communities to be driven from their ancient homelands.

February 11, 2015 – New Proposed AUMF *Authorization to Use Military Force
…Whereas, ISIL leaders have stated that they intend to conduct terrorist attacks internationally, including against the United States, its citizens, and interests;…
…Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled…
…The President is authorized, subject to the limitations in subsection (c), to use the Armed Forces of the United States as the President determines to be necessary and appropriate against ISIL or associated persons or forces…
…In this joint resolution, the term ‘‘associated persons or forces’’ means individuals and organizations fighting for, on behalf of, or alongside ISIL or any closely-related successor entity in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners…
February 11, 2015 – Letter to Congress
The authorization I propose would provide the flexibility to conduct ground combat operations in other, more limited circumstances, such as rescue operations involving U.S. or coalition personnel or the use of special operations forces to take military action against ISIL leadership. It would also authorize the use of U.S. forces in situations where ground combat operations are not expected or intended, such as intelligence collection and sharing, missions to enable kinetic strikes, or the provision of operational planning and other forms of advice and assistance to partner forces.

Coalition forces ROUTINELY air drop military supplies to ISIS fighters in Syria
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA … was against invading Iraq as a Senator, against the “surge” until it was ‘successful'(and politically popular) campaigned on withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, regardless of the state of disruption caused by the original US intervention against international law. He cavalierly announced his timetable, to allow insurgents to plan ahead. NOW he wants to use air strikes and drone strikes to kill these same rebel fighters he supplied weapons to in Syria, from clandestine CIA operations in Libya, (which he illegally and unilaterally bombed under guise of a no-fly zone).
The ISIS rebels, obviously unimpressed with the lines in the sand “nation-state” boundaries created by Sikes-Picot in 1918, to preserve British hegemony and control over oil discoveries, have simply taken the weapons and moved across the border, (after using chemical weapons and depleted uranium against civilian targets, causing massive refugee relocation that will last for generations.)
This new offensive against now-well-armed Saudi-backed militias, fighting the US-installed Iraqi government, will be AGAINST Saudi Arabian interests, in conjunction with (Shiite) Iran and enemy-in-Ukraine, Russia.
The Obama Doctrine seems to “sell as many weapons as possible, to as many sides as possible, and kill as many civilians as possible, as long as US controls the oil and maintains the petrodollar as world reserve currency”.
So much for his world vision, his ability to pick and hold an ally, his military acuity… and his premature Nobel Peace Prize.
One question remains… who will he blame this on?
